Adriena Wearren
My name is Adriena Wearren and I am Co-Leader of the Pastor’s Aid leadership team. I was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ and have resided in North Carolina for the past 20 plus years. I am the mother of 3 grown children, 2 sons and 1 daughter. I have been a member of The Apple of His Eye Apostolic Ministries since 2018. I have been a leader of the Pastor’s Aid for the past year. In my leadership capacity, I ensure that the needs of the pastor are met through planning anniversary, birthday, or appreciation events, as well as day to day needs of the pastor. I enjoy serving and being a part of the ministry and taking part wherever there is a need to serve.

Transparency Moment
I was 12 years old when my mother passed, before she passed, I was reared in the church and served wherever I was needed. I gave my life to Christ at the age of 13. I became pregnant at the age of 15 and was sat down from all auxiliaries at the church. When this happened, my life began to go downhill because church had been my life. At the age of 18, I began to run the streets of NJ, selling drugs, became a teenage mother and became homeless. Around the age of 23 I moved to NC and began to sell crack cocaine and became my best customer. By the time I was 21, I had two children and a drug habit. I lost parental rights of my children and I lost all hope for life. However, today I can testify that God has been good to me. I am clean of drugs and alcohol, have a decent home to live in and a good relationship with my children. I returned to God and He took me back into His loving arms and gave me purpose for
living.
