Rosa Norman
I am Rosa Norman and I am Co-leader of the Pastor’s Aid for the Apple of His Eye Apostolic
Ministries. I was born and raised in Greensboro and I am the daughter of a Bishop and I learned from an
early age how to serve and love the people of God. I joined The Apple of His Eye Apostolic Ministries in
2018 and have been involved with the Pastor’s Aid for a year. I am the mother of 4 adult children, 1
daughter who is deceased and 3 sons, grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 5. I serve my pastor
in many capacities, from assisting with special events, to ensuring she has her needs met and to be her
legs in going into the community and taking food to the people in need. It is a pleasure for me to give
back to my Pastor and the people who need food, clothes, and love.

Transparency Moment
I am a PK (Pastor Kid), I was raised in the church and went faithfully every Sunday. I was raised to obey God and serve the people of God and to follow the path of God. However, as I became a teenager, I became rebellious and strayed from my upbringing. I became a teenage mother at 16. Shortly after that, I married to an abusive man. I was married for 15 years before I got enough courage to leave. After leaving the marriage, I began to run the streets, drink, and do drugs. I was so broken and stressed; I did not know what to do with my life. However, God led me back to Him and showed me that I have value and purpose. I want to serve others as I was trained to do at an early age.
