To help us keep thriving, you can give funds, food, clothes, or volunteer. Please call our organization and we will arrange a way to collect the items donated. Remember, we are a 501c3 and items donated can be used for a tax deduction.

FOOD DONATIONS

You can help US make a difference. The ActZ of the Apple Mobile Ministry could use your help in donating non-perishable food items. When you are cleaning out your pantry or shopping for your groceries, you can donate to our food pantry. Please take time to pick up one or more canned or non-perishable food items such as:

Vegetables:

Greens beans, Pinto beans, Baked Beans, Turnip Greens or Mixed greens, mixed vegetables, Corn, Squash, Peas, Lima Beans, Black eye peas, Carrots, Beets, Tomatoes, etc.

Can Items:

Ravioli, Chef Boyardee,

Canned Proteins:

Tuna, Sardines, Salmon, Chicken, Ham, Corned Beef, etc.

Fruits:

Peaches, Pineapples, Apples, Pears, Fruit Cocktail, Applesauce, etc.

Dry or Boxed Items:

Chicken Noodle Soup, Tomato Soup, Vegetable Soup, Cheese Soup, Chowders, Broths, Stews, Hamburger Helper, etc., Salt, Pepper, Sugar, Creamers, Coffee, Tea, Water (bottles or jugs), Dry milk, Can Milk, Cereal, Grits, Oatmeal, Pop Tarts, Cereal Bars, Rice Cakes, Pancake Mix, Biscuit Mix, Corn bread, Muffin Mix, Box Cake Mix, Spaghetti Noodles, Pasta Noodles, Macaroni & cheese, Rice (brown or white), Dry Beans, Mashed Potato Flakes etc.

CLOTHING DONATIONS

Why wait until March, April, and May to start spring cleaning? Our organization is always needing new or gently used clothing. Whether you have gained weight, or just want to find a reason to go shopping, more than likely you have clothes hanging in the closet you no longer need. Donating your clothing items to help those who may need to go on a job interview or a mom who just found out she is pregnant is a GREAT reason to donate. When you give your unwanted items, it gives you a peace of mind knowing that your clothes are making a real impact in the world.

So, when you find time this year, clean out all those unwanted clothes and know that you are making a significant impact on somebody’s life. We accept the following:

Men ALL sizes: Coats, Suits, Suit Jackets, Dress Shirts, Casual Wear, Jeans, Slacks, Belts, T-shirts, and shoes.

Women ALL sizes: Coats, Scarfs, Dress Suits, Dresses, Blouses, Casual Wear, Jeans, Slacks, Belts, and shoes.

Children ALL sizes: Coats, Jackets, Active wear, Jeans, shirts, school uniforms, socks and shoes.

Infant and Toddler wear: All items

FUNDRAISERS

Are you a school, church, civic group, a non-profit or someone who likes to help others? You can assist the ActZ of the Apple Mobile Ministry by hosting a fundraiser! It could be a music festival, bingo game or a small raffle. And a lot of these activities can be held on ZOOM.

What you donate matters. We are grateful to our supporters who raise funds for those in need. All monies raised goes back into the community to help individuals in a variety of ways. ***Please see a list of our services under assistance.

FOOD DRIVE

Due to covid and social distance restrictions, food drives can be done safely. Just like drive through baby showers and birthday parties, you can also host a drive through food collection.

You can notify donors of your location and times for drop off. Participants can drive through with their food items and hand to helpers. This is a safe and fun way to see friends who we have not seen in a while.

You or your group can collect donations at your site and make group donations. Most groups set up food boxes at their business or at community sites that people can drop off food items. Once you have collected all the food items, you can contact our organization and we will make the arrangements to pick up the items donated.

You can make virtual donations also. No food drive boxes, no going from site to site. Go to Amazon.com and type in : amazon.com in the search bar. Look up our charity The Apple of His Eye Apostolic Ministries, Inc. and select items to donate items from our charity list.

You can come to our food location and make your drop off.

VOLUNTEER

The ActZ of the Apple Mobile Ministry has volunteer opportunities nearly every day. Whether you are helping us sort food, performing outreach in the community, or providing mentorship to one of our families, we appreciate all help to service the community. You can contact us and request a volunteer application. We appreciate your willingness to give of yourself!
